Jillan Gunawan

Jillan Gunawan is an Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group for Commerce Street Capital, LLC. Mr. Gunawan provides analytical support for the team on both sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, fairness opinions and the private placement of capital for both equity and debt offerings. He is responsible for running merger models, pro forma valuation analysis and providing support throughout the deal flow process.

Prior to joining Commerce Street in 2023, Mr. Gunawan was with Bentley Associates in New York where he started his investment banking career as an intern. He was also an Associate on the Deals Strategy and Operations team at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Indonesia and was instrumental in the merger and the operational and IT integration of three major state-owned banks.

Mr. Gunawan is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, with a B.B.A in Management Information Systems. While attending UT Austin, he was part of the various university symphony orchestras as a violinist. More recently, he graduated from the MS Finance program from the University of Rochester.
